MY NEW SKIRT
May be someone will remember that in February in the last days of sale as I didn't find the skirts I was looking for I had the strange idea to buy the fabrics . I wrote about that in this post for a long time I thought it would remained unused in a drawer because the search for a seamstress had seemed a bit' difficult, then suddenly I met the right person and she sewed the skirt just as I wished , the skirt that reminds me the 60's . This morning I wore it with a top in white linen , but it is also nice paired with brown. Today wearing a pair of brown leather sandals with heels ( exceptional thing for me ) purchased in Bolzano last month. To give a touch of color a jade necklace and an old turtle bracelet. The sunglasses are Persol by Ratti , i have for any years and now only found in vintage shops: Many years ago in Greece had forgotten them in a crowded bakery, do not believe but the next day I was lucky enough to find them! by the way .......high demand from my daughters ........!!! Forse qualcuno ricorderà che a febbraio duranti i saldi , non trovando le gonne che cercavo, avevo avuto la strana idea di acquistare delle stoffe ( ne parlavo in questo post ) http://thewhitecabbage.blogspot.it/2013/02/shopping.html. Per molto tempo ho pensato che sarebbero rimaste inutilizzate in un cassetto perchè la ricerca di una sarta mi era sembrata un po' difficoltosa , poi improvvisamente ho incontrato la persona giusta ed ecco la gonna proprio come la desideravo , con un gusto un po' retro che tanto mi ricorda gli anni 60'. Questa mattina l'ho indossata con un top in lino bianco, ma è deliziosa anche con un top marrone che riprende i colori del tessuto..... ai piedi un paio di sandali in cuoio marrone con il tacco ,(cosa per me assolutaente eccezionale ) acquistati a Bolzano il mese scorso . Per dare un tocco di colore al top una collana in giada e al polso un vecchio bracciale in tartaruga .Gli occhiali sono dei Persol di Ratti che ho da moltissimi anni e che ormai si trovano solo nei negozi vintage . Molti anni fa in Grecia li avevo dimenticati in una affollatissima panetteria , non ci crederete ma il giorno seguente ho avuto la fortuna di ritrovarli ! ...by the way richiestissimi dalle mie figlie .......!!!!!allora che ne dite della mia gonna ? promossa o bocciata ?
