Watching the Bond movie Octopussy(1983) I was mesmerized by the beautiful white Hotel in the middle of the lake. I wowed that one day I would visit it, now my wish came true ! The way you are welcomed is memorable : the greeting and pick up by the boat , the way you will be showered by red rose petals as you walk into the hotel. During your stay you will be pampered by the wonderful staff , in the hotel and in the Spa . In the afternoon it was really pleasant sitting on the roof top waiting the sunset when the flute player sends his traditionals tunes over the courtyard and finishes his music with a cheeky rendering "Frere Jacob" . Heavenly!
During those beautiful days we arranged to book a cooking class . We spend an amazing afternoon
in the old town of Udaipur and we had a wonderful time at "Sushma cooking class "www.sushmascookingclasses.com trying to learn
some traditional Rajasthani meals like Chapati , Butter Paneer Masala , Dal , Masala Chai.
It was a delightful experience and we had a lot of fun!
Guardando il film di Bond Octopussy (1983) sono rimasta ipnotizzata alla vista di quell' hotel bianco in mezzo al lago . Ho giurato che un giorno in quell'albergo ci sarei andata , il mio sogno
si è avverato! Il modo in cui vieni ricevuta è memorabile: l'accoglienza e il trasferimento con la barca , il momento dell'ingresso in hotel quando vieni ricoperta da una cascata di petali di rose rosse, e come vieni "coccolata" da tutto il gentilissimo staff dell'hotel e della Spa.
Nel tardo pomeriggio è bellissimo sedere nel roof top ad attendere il tramonto mentre il suonatore di flauto dirige le sue note nel giardino interno e finisce la sua musica con una irridente versione
di "Fra Martino" Divino!
Durante questi bellissimi giorni abbiamo prenotato un corso di cucina : trascorrendo un piacevolissimo pomeriggio nella vecchia Udaipur :
Sushma è fantastica ed è stato interessantissimo partecipare a "Sushmacooking class"www.sushmascookingclasses.com cercando di imparare alcuni piatti tipici del Rajastan come : Chapati , Butter Paneer Masala, Dal, Masala Chai. E' stata un'esperienza molto piacevole e ci siamo divertite moltissimo !
