LO SCIROPPO AI FIORI DI SAMBUCO

                                 UN POMERIGGIO AL PARCO DEL CORMOR


La raccolta dei fiori di sambuco  è una  tradizione molto radicata in Alto Adice e in  tutti i Paesi del  Nord  . Questo è   uno dei miei "riti" primaverili ai quali non riesco a  rinunciare  . In questo periodo la mia cucina si trasforma in un piccolo laboratorio dove mi diverto a preparare lo sciroppo di fiori di sambuco, che rinfrescherà le mie giornate estive o  servirà da base per un ottimo  sorbetto.
Lo preparate anche voi o lo comperate all'Ikea ?

                                                   
The harvest of the flower of elder is a very anciaent tradition in Alto Adige and in all the countries in the North Europe. In Spring  this is for me a "must" which I can't give up.
In these days my kitchen turns into a laboratory, where  I have a good time in doing the 
syrup of elder's flowers that will refresh my summer day, or as a base for a delicious  sherbet.
Did you ever tryied to do it ?' You  find it ready to drink  to  Ikea .....

RABARI SHAWL FROM INDIA

Looking the dark sky and the rain falling , reading a nice book , having a cup of coffee and pampering myself  with  my  Rabari's shawl/plaid   throw me in my "India mood" in the meanwhile .waiting   to have the chance to visit a Rabari village I 've ordered   " Thread of  line"   that speaks about  tribal embroider.
The  Rabari's main business since then used to be raising cattle camels and goats and for some
traditional-minded  families this is still the case. Vintage Rabari's shawls are hand embroidered
with small mirrors, handloomed pure rustic wool.Beautiful imperfection as the result of hand made  work.This shawls are decorated overall with tie die dotted lattice design on a dark  , black
ground with dense cotton embroidery  and mirrows on end borders. They are known  for their
"Rabari Bharat" especially in Kutch (Region).Rabari women diligently embroider on textil as an expression of creativity, aesthetic and identity as far back as the tribe collective memory goes.

                                     
Scrutando il cielo scuro , e la pioggia che scende a scrosci, leggendo un buon libro , con una buon
caffe,  coccolandomi nel mio   scialle Rabari ha fatto riaffiorare il mio  "mal D'India" , nel frattempo sperando di avere  l'opportunità di tornare e di visitare un villaggio Rabari  ho ordinato " Thread of line"  un  libro documento su ricami  Rabari  e tribali.
Per il popolo nomade dei Rabari  l'occupazione principale è sempre stata la pastorizia , pecore , cammelli e capre., ancora oggi  per alcune famiglie conservatrici e tradizionaliste  è  così. 
Gli scialli/ plaid Rabari sono tessuti a mano con lana grezza ,e  ricamati  con piccoli specchi. Le numerose imperfezioni sono il risultato di un lavoro artigianale ed accrescono il  loro valore .
Questi scialli sono cosparsi di  piccoli anelli in tinta diversa su uno sfondo scuro, quasi sempre nero ,che si ottengono con la tecnica simile a quella del batik, e vistoramente ricamati  sui bordi con  tinte coloratissime e specchietti.Il numero dei rosoni  può variare .Sono conosciuti come "Rabari Bharat" specialmente nel Kutch (Regione). Le donne Rabari ricamano con passione come espressione di creatività , per appagare il loro senzo estetico, e come memoria di una antica identità collettiva .

MAURIZIO GALIMBERTI  one of the greatest authors of italian photografy  who works only on  Polaroid. The exhibition at Palazzo Franchetti in Venice showcases the Galimberti's research
on manpulation and the dadaist direspect on his ready made.
For Keyhole a capsule collection  portrait performance .Yesterday  I was pleased to be present  at the nice event  by the "Duca d'Aosta " in  Venice  San Marco. 


MAURIZIO GALIMBERTI  uno dei più famosi  fotografi italiani che lavora solo con Polaroi In occasione del finissage  dell'esibizione a Palazzo Franchetti  a venezia  dove erano in mostra le opere  di ricerca e  sperimentazione e  della corrente dadaista e ready made.
Per Keyhole  ieri ho avuto il grande piacere  di essere presente alla presentazione della Capsule collection presso l'elegante cornice del Duca d'Aosta di Venezia San Marco .
